What began as a simple interest in sewing 25 years ago has, through experience and advanced education, grown and blossomed into an exciting adventure that Connie loves to share with her students.
Her gift for elegant design and exquisite craftsmanship has made her a highly sought afterteacher in the US, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico.
As a licensed Martha Pullen Educator, Connie teaches “Martha Pullen Heirloom Retreats” internationally. She also travels and teaches for the “Martha Pullen Extravaganzas” as well at the “Martha Pullen School of Art Fashion” in Huntsville, Al.
Her showcase of skills can often be seen on the PBS television series, Martha’s Sewing Room, America Sews with Sue Hausmann and Quilting with Shar. She is a regular contributor to "Sew Beautiful Magazine". Other articles can be seen in “Design in Machine Embroidery” and Jenny Haskins magazine.
She has the privilege of having garment designs on the front of 5 Martha Pullen books. “Lovely Lingerie”, “Elegant Sewing for Baby”, “Contemporary Heirlooms for the Older Girl”, “Six Easy Patterns”, and “Fabulous Fashions”.

Holiday Spaghetti Tree Applique
By Connie Palmer
Sew Beautiful Magazine #127
I created this adorable A-Line dress using our T-31 green tri-color Spaghetti Bias for the Christmas Tree (black gingham spaghetti bias makes the trunk), decorated with red Christmas ornament ball buttons on red feather wale corduroy .
Can't leave the boys out!! They need a cute Christmas outfit. It is decorated with flat buttons instead of ball buttons so it won't be so fussy.
